About Mark Hubler

Hubler Construction has been working in Knoxville homes since 2001. It is Mark Hubler's company, and for 25 years it has been Mark doing the work.

He is a licensed residential general contractor in Tennessee, and he is insured. In that time he has framed and finished whole house remodels, built custom tile showers, put up garages and decks and screen porches, and finished more basements than he could count. He has cut trim to match profiles that have not been sold in 40 years. He has built a feature wall out of burnt and stained boards because a homeowner saw a picture of one. He has built a chicken coop that people have opinions about.

What he likes are the jobs where the finish work decides whether it looks right. Trim, tile, drywall, and the parts of a room your eye lands on. He would rather build a bathroom that holds up for 20 years than chase the biggest job on the street. He does not go after high-dollar kitchen remodels, and that is a choice, not a limitation.

A few years ago he started taking more small work, and it turned into a real part of the business. Drywall patches. A ceiling fan. Baseboards in one room. Assembling the furniture that has been sitting in boxes in somebody's garage since March. Most people cannot get a licensed contractor to return a call about a job that size. Mark will.

So the range is wide. Some weeks it is a full remodel. Some weeks it is hanging a curtain rod. Both get done the same way, by the same person, and he will tell you honestly if a job is not one he should be doing.

He lives and works in Knoxville and takes jobs across the area, including Farragut, Bearden, West Knoxville, Sequoyah Hills, Fountain City, Powell, Karns, and Hardin Valley, plus Maryville, Oak Ridge, and Lenoir City.
